Beethoven Turkish March for String Orchestra

The Turkish March (Marcia alla turca) from The Ruins of Athens was first used in Beethoven's "6 Variations on an Original Theme", Op. 76, of 1809.    Beethoven used this theme in 1812 as part of the incidental music to a play by August von Kotzebue which premiered in Pest.  This march sparkles with energy and would be a great addition to any concert program, with or without the percussion parts!
