This is where young string players take their first steps as soloists. The pieces in this section are arranged for violin, viola, and cello with string orchestra or piano accompaniment, and are suited to players working at ABRSM Grades 1 and 2.

The repertoire focuses on first position, simple key signatures, straightforward rhythms, and basic bowing patterns. Everything is arranged to sound complete and musical while keeping the technical demands manageable because a student's early performance experiences matter, and the right piece at the right moment makes a real difference.

These arrangements are well suited to school concerts, studio recitals, festivals, and Grade 1 and 2 examination preparation. No performance licence is required, and all scores are available as instant PDF downloads.
