Clarinet and String Orchestra

Clarinet and string orchestra

This is where our string orchestra specialism and the clarinet repertoire meet. Arranging for clarinet and strings is something we're well placed to do: we know how to balance a solo line against string parts, and there's a body of repertoire here that suits a school or youth orchestra setting particularly well.

The clarinet concerto literature is rich — Mozart's K.622, the Weber concertos, Crusell's three concertos, Finzi's Concerto for Clarinet and Strings. These are works that string orchestras want to programme, and good performance materials aren't always easy to find.

We're building this section of the catalogue steadily. If there's a concerto or shorter work you'd like to see here, whether for a student soloist or a professional engagement, please get in touch. Requests genuinely shape what we work on next.
