Violin and piano

The violin and piano repertoire is vast. The Beethoven, Brahms, and Franck sonatas sit at one end; grade examination pieces and teaching repertoire at the other. In between there's an enormous body of character pieces, sonatinas, and shorter concert works, including a great deal that rarely gets programmed but deserves to.
