Finding repertoire at the right level is one of the most common challenges in music teaching and learning. We've organised our catalogue into five levels based on the ABRSM grade system, which is widely used internationally and gives a reliable common reference point.
- Beginner: Grades 1–2
- Early intermediate: Grades 3–4
- Intermediate: Grades 5–6
- Advanced: Grades 7–8
- Professional: Diploma level
Grade equivalencies are never exact, and teachers will sometimes disagree about where a particular piece sits. That's why every score on MyMusicScores includes a full video preview — you can watch and listen to the complete piece before you buy, and judge for yourself whether it's the right fit.
If you're still not sure whether a piece is right for you or your student, please get in touch.
