The works here are the concertos and major pieces that define string playing at the highest standard: examination repertoire for DipABRSM, LRSM, and equivalent qualifications, audition repertoire for conservatoire postgraduate programmes and professional orchestra positions, and recital centrepieces for emerging soloists.

The collection includes complete concertos and substantial movements by Dvořák, Haydn, Saint-Saëns, and other composers whose works sit at the heart of the professional repertoire, all arranged for string orchestra accompaniment.
